CdMRA’s 2026 Annual Town Meeting: Save the date Wednesday, May 6 …
The Corona del Mar Residents Association’s (CdMRA) 2026 Annual Town Meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 6, at the lovely Sherman Gardens in Corona del Mar.
Our annual signature event includes two distinct segments:
- 5:00-6:15 p.m.: Community Social and Civic Expo which includes interactive displays, meet-and-greet stations for City Staff and local Civic groups, hosted refreshments and a Silent Auction.
- 6:30-7:30 p.m.: A speakers’ program which will address a local and timely topic that impacts CdM residents as well as our CdM businesses and visitors.
The Expo features representatives from City departments and community organizations. Hosted refreshments will be provided, and we will host a Silent Auction with amazing items from local businesses.
City departments participating in the Civic Expo include the Newport Beach Police Department (including Crime Prevention and Neighborhood Watch staff), Newport Beach Fire Department (joined by Newport Fire Safe Committee and Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) representatives), Community Development/Code Enforcement, Public Works/Water Quality, Library Services, and Recreation/Senior Services.
We have also invited representatives from civic/community organizations such as the Newport Beach Film Festival, CDM Chamber of Commerce, Friends of OASIS, SPON (Still Protecting Our Newport) and more. This is your opportunity to meet with City and community representatives to discuss issues and concerns, or simply to stop to say hello.
Our speakers’ program opens with Mayor Lauren Kleiman who will provide information about Corona del Mar projects in the works and on the drawing board. We will also hear from Fire and Police personnel who will report on Public Safety, focusing on key prevention measures and training already in place for citizens and planned projects that address home, personal and community safety.
Our guest speakers are being confirmed. Our hope is to include an update on the CdM Commercial Corridor Improvement Project, its features and project timing.
With the beautiful backdrop of Sherman Gardens and the timely community topics, we know that CdMRA’s Annual Town Meeting will be a fun and informative event for all who attend.
Please visit our website (cdmra.org) or follow us on Facebook (CdMRA) and Instagram and Twitter (cdmra92625) for further details and additional information. We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday, May 6, 2026.
Our Annual Town Meeting is open to all Corona del Mar residents and businesses. Be sure to bring your neighbors to enjoy the event with you!
