Meetings & Events

Each year, the Corona del Mar Residents Association sponsors keynote events which focus on local issues that are important to our members and the community at large.  Most of these events are open to the general public; some are for members only.

CdMRA members receive advance notice of these events, and have priority admission status, especially important for events that are popular and result in standing-room-only attendance.

Our signature recurring events are listed below.  We encourage you to mark your calendar and make plans to join us at one or more of these events.

COVID-19 Note: Please recognize that some of these event dates will change or be held as virtual events until such time as it is safe for public gatherings to resume.

CdM Annual Town Meeting

Community Social & Expo plus Speakers Program

CdMRA joins with the Corona del Mar Business Improvement District to co-host this signature event.  It starts with our Community Social which provides our members and guests the opportunity to meet and talk with City representatives, CdMRA board members and volunteers from local civic organizations.     A topical speakers’ program follows the social which typically draws a standing-room only crowd.  Local businesses, and groups like the Newport Beach Film Festival, donate an array of amazing prizes for our Opportunity Drawing.  This is one event you don’t want to miss.

 CdM Town Halls

Scheduled regularly, so watch our Upcoming Events listing for details.

CdMRA partners with our City Council and local County, State and Federal representatives to promote Town Halls which focus on issues that have a direct impact on residents and their community.  Topics such as Public Safety, Crime Prevention, General Plan Update processes and celebrations such as the opening of the new CdM Branch Library and Fire Station result in well attended meetings with robust dialogue between citizens and their representatives.

Topical and insightful, CdMRA holds a meeting most every month which includes Corona del Mar’s three council members (Districts 5, 6 and 7), our NBPD and NBFD liaison officers, several city commissioners and a guest speaker covering topics and issues that matter most to CdM residents.  Reports from each of our panel members are followed by audience Q&A.  The meeting concludes with a business report from CdMRA officers.  There is much to learn and opportunities to share concerns and opinions.  This is another way the CdMRA meets its important goal of resident outreach and feedback. Join us when you can.
